In Shreveport

David and Eli are in Shreveport this evening. I'm sure hanging out at the hotel trying to get sleep. Sleep has become a strange thing for Eli. He sleeps when he is at the end of his very long rope, but restlessly and for short stints. I am hoping the removal of his leg splints will help him regain his confidance and comfort.

Please pray for David and Eli. None of us have seen Eli's new legs. David will be the first. It will be dramatic, I am certain. I know we have a whole host of angels who are with us at all times. David's angels will be on overtime tomorrow. Pray that Eli will experience minimal pain as the splints are removed. We are told it will hurt. Why does everything have to hurt?

We will post pics tomorrow evening after they return home.

I love you all.

knowing this will be traumatic, we are in constant prayer for David and Eli while there and you and Sophia at home waiting. So glad David got to take the van and pray he will have relief for his headache. Stress and no rest just goes together for misery.
We are loving you all and wishing we were there to help.

We are lifting David and Eli up in prayer. Eli has shown all of us such courage and adaptability. Hopefully Eli will start sleeping soon. Living with splints and bandages is so stressful on all.
Love,
Linda and Pete
Glad the trip went well. Still praying for your family...

I just bet Eli will be up and running in no time, can't wait to see a pic of him standing with his new legs,,, Kids are so resiliant, they can adjust to things very quickly,, I am sure he will be afraid at first, but for some reason, I can't see Eli being afraid for long..
