HOME

Six hours on the road folk, six hours minimum, one way to Shreveport from Tulsa, every time. But we are home at last, and the house is warming up, and Eli is ready to go back to sleep even after having slept three hours in the car. He is taking Lortab every four hours, and I don't think he'll be the designated driver anytime soon.

Words cannot express how grateful Melissa and I are for all your prayers. They have been answered in extraordinary fashion. Eli has been gabbing and playing non-stop for hours, and we certainly hadn't expected that.

I'm beat! Good night.
