This evening, I am encouraged. I am overflowing with peace and anticipation. God is good. Eli is in His care. We will all survive the coming week with flying colors.

We are blessed. We are blessed to be the parents of a magnificent child (two of them) who touches people around the globe with his smile and tenacity. We are blessed that our Savior uses us to show his love and compassion to those we know. Thank you, God, for caring about us with such depth we can hardly comprehend. Eli is cherished by many.

Eli is still sick. He needs to heal so his body will be ready for invasive surgery (no laparoscopic here).

Love you all,

Melissa, You are the encourager. Thank you for the good words. I pray the Lord never lets you and David to lose faith, but keep on keeping on. You will all be the winners.... So with the spiritial gift of faith you and I will be mutually encouraged by each others faith. Romans 1:12 Love to you. Bobbie

John and I just finished praying for you, David, Eli and Sophia. We are fully aware of your struggles with this upcoming procedure. John has gone up to get ready for work and I just checked the blog (first thing on my daily list). God answers prayers quickly and we know he has you all in the palm of his righteous right hand. See you soon in Shreveport. Granna

Hannah always wants to check on Eli's blog to see if anything is new. Eli is truly a fighter. I know the anticipation of this upcoming surgery is great, but you know it's the best thing for him for the future.

Remember when you saw Hannah climb up the stairs and wanted Eli to do that, you have him time and encouragement, and he did. Remember how you felt when you saw her up and around on her legs, give him time, encouragement, and this surgery, and he will.

Eli, your family, and the doctors will be in our prayers next week. Eli is destined for some AMAZING things!
