Super Cute Late Night Eli

Eli just happened to be up late -- AGAIN -- and he wanted to say hello to you. This video includes a closer look at Elijah's feet post-op, as well as some philosophical thoughts from Dad and a few entertaining moments from the boy, including a ridiculously cute surprise at the end.

ADDITIONAL CUTENESS:

And now a classic from the Elijah Video Blog playlist... Eli and his Granna during the Christmas vacation playing in the evening on the living room floor. Those family members out there who know Anna best will appreciate her selection of hand puppet.

To David and Eli: Thanks so much for sharing!! I was laughing out loud and needed the good feelings after a long day at school. Ryan
(6) and Daniel (3) came in to see what I was laughing about. I told them that I was laughing with Eli, the boy we have been praying for. Eli and Daniel are 3 days apart in age (12-26). Take care and keep the videos coming!

I was smiling, laughing, and crying... That boy never ceases to amaze me. I love that you are willing to share your journey. I'm so glad that I get to be a small part of it. Seeing his smile, his laugh, hearing him laugh, hearing him talk.... it's just perfect. Gah... I love that kid. And, I love those legs. I will love it when he runs.
He is really and amazing little guy. Gotta love the resiliency of children. Yes, I know he's had a little rough go, but I think I would still be sitting my rear in bed, feeling sorry for myself and begging for pain meds.

That little laugh... what is there to say. It was so good to see the old Eli back.

Can't wait to see where he is and what he is doing in five years. We are approaching the five year mark on Hannah, and the progress she has made is nothing short of miraculous.

Hang in there. You will all make it...

I have been reading since right before the amputation and just never commented. But I must say today...thank you for posting these videoes. If that is not the sweetest most contagious laugh and my goodness, the sweet singing at the end....I just don't know what is. I can't imagine your journey but praying nonetheless. You all are amazingly strong parents and I could just reach right through the computer screen and eat Eli up!!!

Mom to a 13 month old with a sweet laugh, too, but still, Eli's takes the cake on this rainy dreary morning!

OK...we are melting here in Ada, OK...laughing with tears in our eyes. These two videos are wonderful! We feel like we know Eli a little better now. He reminds of SO much of our Rusty at that age. You guys are "entertaining an angel". Forgive us if we've said that before. We will probably say it again! Your words touched our hearts, David. Praying for you all! Love in Christ, Rob and Kathy Gandy

It's so great to see you all doing well after Eli's surgery. David, you have got a heart of gold and a warrior soul! God is at work in you all through your positive thoughts, words and actions. My son Jack,(age 28 months) has had a bit of language delay, and that has been frustrating. Nothing compaired to your trials. But I know that whenever I check up on what's going on in Eli's world, I always get my dose of positive parenting, and my heart is filled with love, and admoration for your family. You and Melissa have my respect as well as my prayers for all 4 of you...
Have a blessed and optimistic day!!
